Continuing the Noguchi Museum’s collaboration with contemporary artists across disciplines, Solid Doubts introduces the category-defying works of Paris-based designer Robert Stadler (Austria, b. 1966) to those of Isamu Noguchi.
Like Noguchi, Stadler disregards the conventional boundaries between art and design, and therefore between things like furniture and sculpture. In four discrete installations in the ground-level galleries and sculpture garden, their innovative works are brought together with the intention of raising as many questions as possible.

To coincide with the exhibition, the Museum is presenting the following public programs, all included with Museum admission ($10 regular; $5 students and seniors; free for Museum members, public high school students, and children under 12). Advance registration is not required.
